The Meeting was called to order at 7:00PM by Captain Stephen Howard. The meeting minutes from the February 7, 2006 meeting were read. A motion was made, seconded and voted to accept the meeting minutes. The Treasurer reported a balance of $8,994.73, of which $7,464.34 is in the contingency fund. A motion was made, seconded and voted to accept the Treasurer s Report.

Chief Misto: There will be a Ladies night dinner held at Venice on Saturday, March 25. This coming work night we will clean the apparatus bay and back room area.

Deputy Chief Findeisen: No report

Deputy Chief Turnberg: No report

Training Officer Mike Misto: We will have ladder training this month.

Committee Reports: By-Law Committee; will meet next Tuesday at 6 PM. Incentive Committee; met and reviewed criteria.

Communications: Received Paw Sox tickets, see Secretary if interested.

Unfinished Business: none

New Business: Chief Misto brought up the 4th Tuesday and if should become a regular training night. It was voted to add 4th Tuesday as a second regular monthly training night and to have by-laws revised to show this change. A motion was made, seconded and approved to move the July regular business meeting from the 4th to the 11th. There is a new bulletin board outside the Chief s office. Work detail and training information will be posted there. Steven Pont brought up the absence of the siren going off at noon; Asst. Chief Findeisen will look into replacing timer.

Remarks for the Good of the Department: Phil Allen reported that Brian Dispirito will be taking an SAT course over the next few Tuesdays. Phil Allen also requested that a new Fundraising committee be created. The members of the Committee are Jon Turnberg, Sam Homsi, Phil Allen, Brian Dispirito, and Mike Johnson. Roger Hall reminded all members that they will get a 15% discount at his family s furniture store.

A motion was made and seconded to adjourn the meeting at 7:27 PM.
