Misquamicut Fire DistrictBeaches
The MFD Beaches are open to all Fire District taxpayers and their guests.
There are three Beaches; Lawton Beach, Benson Beach and Clark Farms Beach.
Beach tags, which are provided free to all MFD taxpayers, are required to enter the MFD beaches.
Parking is available on a first come first served basis at the Lawton and Benson Beaches.
The purchase and display of a parking pass is required to park at MFD parking lots.
Beginning July 1st Parking passes will be $300.00 as passed by the MFD taxpayers at this year’s Annual Meeting.
Walk-on passes will no longer be available this year after July 14th.
2022 Hours of Operation
Beaches Open Weekends
All Beaches (Benson, Clark and Lawton) will be open the weekends of May 28-30 (including Memorial Day), June 4-5, and June 11-12.
The hours are 9:00am to 6:00pm.
Beaches Open Daily
All beaches will be open every day starting June 18 through Monday, September 5. (If there isn't sufficient personnel, the first day will be June 25.)
The hours are:
Weekdays — 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Weekends and Holidays — 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
